Marlo’s Magazine is a series of six large hardback books that represent the very best of his card magic, spanning over 2,000 pages. Vanishing Inc. worked tirelessly to reproduce these legendary publications in a gorgeous new slipcase edition.

During the 1970s and 80s, Marlo grew tired of other magic publishers taking a long time to release his work, and so he embarked on the most ambitious project of his career: a series of six self-published “magazines” containing his very best work. He jokingly called them magazines, but they were actually books, each containing between 325 and 500 pages. The material features in-depth examinations of techniques such as card-to-pocket, the Punch Deal, Marlo’s Convincing Control, and effects like Ace Assemblies and Oil and Water. But that’s just the start — each magazine is filled with at least 200 moves, techniques, and effects. It’s where techniques like the Snap Change, Olram’s Jinx Switch, Unit Upjog Control, and more were first published, but that’s just the start — the scope of these books is so wide that every time you open them, you’ll be introduced to something new.

Due to their scarcity and the exceptional quality of the magic within them, these books have been hoarded, whispered about, and sought after for decades.
