Mandrake Incomparable - Sheldon O'Connell - SIGNED

Mandrake: conjurer, illusionist, mentalist, manipulator, ventriloquist and sometimes fire eater! Professional before he reached his teens. A lifetime spent on stage. Known for his rakish top hat, pencil line moustache and scarlet-lined cape, Mandrake's troupe of unusual players contribute to the personal drama of this gifted West Coast magician. This book celebrates the contributions one man has made to the internationally recognized art of magic. It's a pastiche which details his incredible journey from turn-of-the-century tent-show illusions to sophisticated dinner clubs, coliseums, concert halls and magic parlors. Mandrake, in his time, rivaled the most celebrated of mystic performers.
