Famed bar magician Doc Eason and I are proud to release a new booklet, FUSILLADE, A Treatise on the Multiple Selection Routine. This collaborative effort fully describes both Doc’s and my approach to a wonderful card magic routine in which anywhere from eight to twenty-five (or more!) spectators choose cards that are then entertainingly produced by the performer. Combined, Doc and I have been performing, developing, and honing our Multiple Selection Routines for over 50 years - that’s a lot of experience packed into this 80-page booklet.

Doc’s section of the booklet features his PMS Control, a simple-to-do, efficient method of having multiple selections made and controlled; his revelations of the cards, and - most important - his work on the memorization of all the spectator’s names. My section of the booklet features descriptions of over 25 card discoveries that I use to produce the spectator’s selections. In the third section of the book, Doc and I relate the tips and tricks we have learned and used over thousands and thousands of performances of the routine: Outs, Opportunities, and Challenges. Finally, there is an extensive Appendix of references and credits; and another Appendix that lists further reading on the subject of Multiple Selection Routines.

The booklet has 81 (8.5 X 11) pages, there are 56 digital photographs to accompany and enhance the text, and the booklet has been carefully edited by both Richard Parker and Jason England. Doc and I are very proud of this material, and we both still perform our routines on an almost daily basis. Audiences love it and they talk about it.
